An adventurous journey to Madhugiri

Journeys are like books Each journey is giving hands with full of gifts It helps to understand the cultures by seeing…We can think about the old people’s words that each journey will not be wasted simply. The Raja Here Gowda had built one castle in 1678,which is situated with the height of 3930m and the Krishna temple is there inside it. This temple is having the traditional architecture and the statues will provide the good experience for us. It is a small hill when we see from down. After reaching the hill can see other one hill. We will think that we are going to reach the hill, but each hill will appear one by one in front of us. That is the Madhugiri, largest one stone hill and got 2 nd place in Asia. Once upon a time these hills were full of honey bees. That’s why this hill is known as madhu (honey) giri(hill). It is situated in Tumkur which is 100kms away from the Bangalore. The Madugiri is a paradise of trekking with 3 kms .This place is more adventurous

We can able to climb easily by seeing the steps which are of stones and the doors of olden days in the first half. The second half is dangerous and should be aware of it. When we see from down could not able to see the 2nd half part. The iron fence is there to walk in the second half part. Most of the iron fences are decayed. In some places it destroyed completely and is about to break. While climbing in the hills will feel like, that we are walking near to the hollow part, where the fence is not there.Only the rope in the fence is there for the help. We have to be very alert while
trekking during winter season because the rocks will be so slippery due to water on it. After reaching 2nd hill only can able to see the next hill. The ascent to this hill is straight, but easy it will be. There is no fence in this area. To show the route the signs are written on the rocks in white color. Its much better to follow the signs without trying for the adventure. Because it’s very difficult to come back if we go wrong route
