Munnar is a small town in Idukki district. Munnar is also known as the ‘Kashmir of the South’. Munnar town and tourist attractions are known as Munnar. Munnar is located at an altitude of 1600-1800 m above sea level.

1. Carmelagiri botanical garden & elephant park

The carmelagiri elephant park is a private park located on the Munnar Topstation Highway. There is a special entry ticket for entering the park. Each elephant can carry a maximum of 3 adults. You can hire a photographer taking photographs of the ride photos at an extra cost of Rs.250 per cost. There is a toy train for children inside the park, and the elephant prak is a botanical garden once we go ahead. Munnar is over after the photo point

Mattuppetty Dam

It is a reservoir of the Pallivasal project.
This is a concrete gravity dam built for electricity generation. The valve has been placed on the bottom to remove the mud from the dam. The natural beauty of the faint is the speedboat that makes the dam. This lake is surrounded by dense forests and grasslands. There is an entry fee in Mattupetty dam. 10 per person for entry.

Cowboy Park – Mattupetty

The cluster of tea plantations and the tea estates makes for a beautiful picnic spot for the tourists. From Munnar 13 km to Mattupetty. The main attraction is the dam and the lake. Cabbage park in Mattupetty is a place that most tourists miss. The Cowboy Park, a joint venture of Kerala Hydel Tourism and Fun Factory group under K.S.E.B’s control, has recently reached new rides that attract children and adults to the next level. The park is designed with modern amenities to enjoy the entire beauty of the dam at the Sun Moon Valley Boating Center in Mattupetty. Flower Gardens is a unique feature of the park that has a variety of activities that attract young adults. The park, which is equipped with adventure and sports items, offers interesting moments for tourists. The Cowboy Park is located within 20 acres of adjacent lake and can be found in a variety of items, such as swing chair, mirror moss, vertics, rain forest, musical bob and bike car rides. Besides, the park has 5 types of adventure and outdoor sports equipment for children. 12 D Theater in Cowboy Park is one of the most attractive attractions for kids and adults. Top Station

The top station is the highest point in the Kannan Devan Hills, at an elevation of 1700 m above sea level. Tea was an important trading center in the early 1990s, from Munnar to Bodinaayakkanoor in Kerala. The oldest rope way station is this (connecting the tea gardens to the gorge).The scenic splendor of the Western Ghats is enchanting because of the strategic location in Kerala and Tamil Nadu boundaries.
