Megamala is a calm and very beautiful hill station. The pampering rain, the mist and the blowing wind was waiting for us last day. It was an enjoyable tourism. Not having many tourists in that place. The road was broken before. Now the taring is over. The work of interlock in hairpin curves is progressing. We have to climb 18 hairpins to reach this place. We can see the tea plantation in vast area and some dams.After leaving the Megamala if we go forward we could see one Maharajamedu view point. The road to that place is so bad. Till there bus service also is there. To stay there are 2 Panjayat guest houses and 2 home stays only. So booking should be done before going there. Some small shops are there to provide food.All vehicles will go through this way.The Megamala is a best place for those who are willing to visit the place with calm and quite.On the way Forest check post is there. Then entry for the visitors are only from morning 6 to evening 5 o clock.
