We can enjoy the natural beauty in this place. It has constructed in 1973 and is spreaded in 285Sq. Km. This is the 3 rd Wild Life Sanctuary in Kerala. (periyar WLS – 925 Sq.km,Vayanad WLS 344.4 So. km).
The Safari is making this place as a different one. A jungle safari by understanding the forest is not there in anywhere I think. This Parambikulam is situated in Kerala but we reach here through Tamilnadu only. So one trip by searching wildlife.
The Parambikulam is suitable for the one day trip. We will get one chance to enjoy the Palakkadu -Pollachi route. The difference in the road can make out while entering into Tamilnadu. There are few hunts,fields and tamarind trees on both sides of the road. One restaurant and toilet facilities are also available there. The places are there for the parking. But monkey are there. We should not keep the eatables inside the vehicle and also outside.Its much better to keep water and the snacks in bag.So that you can have it while going for 2 hours safari.
Most of the vehicles had gone.We will get the tickets by seeing the order. While coming itself tell the name and vehicle number. They will give the ticket by writing the vehicle number in which we should go. The ticket is for 200 rupees.
