One Heritage travel through Devabhoomi

The Himachal is a beautiful place which is giving wonder for the travellers.The Himachal Pradesh is one of the state with the less population and it is having 2000 temples.Most of the temples are oldest and this is known as Devabhoomi (the place without the God – god’s own place) because of this. There was no idea to visit those places so we didn’t go there. The Kangra valley was the next member in the bucket list. From Delhi catched one Hariyana roadwase bus after completing the interview to Palampuri. I remembered that the driver is a bin diesel.In the morning we reached Palampuri. The best tea plantation is there at Palampure hill station.

One friend from Palampure had invited us to visit this place. He might have not expected that we will take it as a serious one. The sun is rising from the Himalaya hills which is full of snow was marvelous to see.It will not disappear from my mind that the reddishness of the snow hills when the sunshine is reflecting to it. I was having Jealous towards my friend because he is living in a heaven.We started to plan the remaining programmes after the breakfast. Then my friend told about the Kangra heritage railway which is build on 1926.It was wonder because of the British engineering. To Pathankottu 3 hours will be there through the road and it will take 8 hours in toy train. So we decided to go back by the toy train.Kangra valley is very beautiful with the Himalaya that is covered with the snow. There are mustard fields that spreads like yellow carpet.The travel will be between these fields with the train ticket 30 rps (140kms). When we mingle with the different languages and cultures our thoughts and visions will change.That wouldbe the main aim. We started our journey from Panjarooghi by 1 o clock. The compartment was so busy with the local people.There were no faces of modern.The toy train was very slow in some places and it was like a cradle.The heritage journey was revealing the advancement of the British Engineering which was there 90 years before. The next attraction was the Maharanaprathap Sagar lake.That is famous for the sunset. I couldn’t able to take the photo because of the Low Battery. The journey had made the good memory and experience in my life. It’s good to try for the bullet ride and trekking to this place.
