The journey started in the morning 5 O clock from Deradoon.The time was 7 o clock and one more day is there to reach Joshimadhi. To reach destination Oli 15 kms are there from here. The bus was going to the sides of ganga with the green colour. The heart beat has increased while traveling through the road with less width. It will make fear and wonder when the bus driver is driving by keeping one hand on the stearing and other by holding cigarette. The road was so bad and danger when climbing up to the hills.The driver will take rest of 15 minutes per hour while driving.
It was nice to watch the mustard field, mountains and the ganga water flowing inbetween the valleys . The journey was progressing by seeing panjuprayag which is known as Devaprayag,Rudraprayag,Karnaprayag,Nandaprayag, and Vishnu parayg based on the Hindu believe. The place where the rivers will join together is known as Prayag.Its nice to see when Bhageerathi river’s light green coloured water and the dark green coloured water of Alakananda joining together at Devaprayag. The Ganga said bye at Devaprayag and followed till Alakanandha.
We were getting expectations by seeing Himalaya which is covered with the snow. It was waiting at Oli. After a long journey at 5 o clock we reached in Joshimadhi. It is a small village with shops,hotels and schools. There is one camb of Indo Tibitan boarder police. There are 15 kms distance to reach this place by road. Through cable car also we can reach here. We stayed at Joshimadhi because the cable car service was there between morning 10 to evening 4.From hotel we can see the Himalayan mountain. But couldn’t able to see this sight for long time because of the zero degree of temperature. Nicely wrapped with the wool sheet and slept because of the tired and the cool climate.
The next morning is started with the children who are going to school. I had respect towards the children that in the early morning they are going to school. The plan was to catch the cable car by 9 o clock.But the rain has come and it was not like rain.It was the ice rain! Me and my friend was enjoying by seeing the sight when the ice is changing to water.It made me to smile when we saw through the Balcony.I was waiting for the service because already the first service had over. So I was waiting in station. There weren’t 6 members for the service. The ticket charge was 750 to go and come Oli. To come back we can use the same ticket. The cable car, with the capacity of 15 members, service started with the available members. The cable car service of Oli is the highest and lengthiest one after the Gulmargu of Kashmir. There are 10 towers and the stations are there only in 8th and 10th. From 8th tower we have to catch chair car and reach the Oli resort
After 5 towers, we saw the hills with the snow and pine trees.After the 7th hill the heaven has come with the mist.We reached 8the tower.There was only snow and enjoyed the Oli by seeing from the tower.We played by taking the snow in the hands and thrown. Snow! After the School days now only knowing about the exact snow. I forgot what I did for the next half an hour
