The Kanthallor village is situated in border between Kerala and Thamilnadu.This place is known as Kashmir of the Kerala and is in Idukki district.
The main attraction is due to small waterfalls,hills and some view points.
We can reach this place by the road only. From Ernakulam bus stand 187 kms are there if we are catching direct bus and from Munnar it is 57 kms.In the month of June-July we can easily get apple, orange, strawberry and promgranate.So it’s known as the season of fruits.
The winter season will be in the months of November, December and January.The people who fed up by seeing Munnar can enjoy this place without any disturbances of tourists.The Bhramaram, Malayalam movie’s some scenes has taken from here.We can’t see such a place with the calm and quite.
This place is not famous in the name of tourism.So there is not having much facilities for the stay. Few honestay facilities are available here.
