The construction work is done by the Mantra company from Kochi. The waiting shed,rain shelter,footpath,chairs,entrance,solar lamps, cafeteria, toilet etc has made as the first part of the development.
Panjalimedu is a place which can be developed as an adventurous tourist place. So the second part of the development is concentrated towards the items of adventure.And the plan for the development of the panjalikulam as big lake with the facilities for the check dam and the pedal boat.

There is no entry for the vehicles at present. There is a plan to make the space for the parking by the guidance of Panjayat. The supervision is done by the 7 staffs of Panjalimedu. This zone is having the restriction for the plastics.The entry to the park is allowed from morning 6 to evening 8.The park will be kept open everyday.
Panjalimedu is a tourist place in the Edukki district. It is situated 2500 ft above the sea level and about 4 kms are there from Murinjapuzha of Kottayam-Kumali route.Through the Mundakayam-Thekkemala route also we can reach Panjalimedu. There are two hills at Panjalimedu. The temple is there on the top of one hill and the cross is there on the other hill.
Panjalimedu is different because of its valleys,meadows,grasslands and cool refreshing climate. When monsoon arrives the place will be covered with the charming mist and thick fog. Although,a pleasant climate is experienced throughout the year.
