The travel to smell of Suganthagiri.The Sugandhagiri is there about 10 kms from Vaithiri of Vayanadu while taking a turn to Pookodu Lake road. There are one ration shop, one resort and few houses in the way. The Kerala was affected with the flood,but the spoilage has happened in this area people because of landspil. There are ancient Vayanadan Kurichyaru, paniya and kaattunayka people in this area. Few years ago there were cardamom plantation for about 1500 hector.
That’s why this name has come ‘Sugandhagiri.’Only greeny leafs and hills in the surroundings. Now the Cardamom agriculture was not there and it is devided and given to others. There were big trees and girths. There are agriculture of coffee and pepper. The road has ended after passing few distance. The bridge was broken which is there in the pond.Now one temporary bridge only is there which is made up of trees and concrete electric post. One person can cross on this way.
