The Tripparappu waterfalls


This is one of the major places we should visit in Kanyakumari trip. We can see and enjoy the Tripparappu Mahadeva temple and the beautiful waterfalls when we take a right turn from Kadayalumoodu police station in Nedumangadu High way. This waterfall is falling from the 50 feet height and it is near to the Kothayar River. If we walk the way which is near to the temple that is between the sellers can reach to the waterfalls.


Chitharal Jain temple

This Chitharal Jain temple of 2000 years old, is one of the places with the evidence of Jainism. Another place we must visit is the Chitharal temple. Before climbing the top I was not having the clearance about Chitharal temple!!! If we climbing on the gravel road about 1km can able to reach the temple. It is sure that the artwork of stones in the temple and the pond which is there in the middle of the temple in front will attract any kind of persons. This cave temple is known to be built in AD 9th century and now it is under the protection of Archeological survey of India. This temple is known with the names of Chitharal Malai kovil and Chitharal Guha kshethram. This is situated in Thirichunamala near to Marthandam in Kanyakumari district.
The statue of Theerthangaran, who had done meditation on the gravel wall and the statue of others also can able to see here.
That place is so hot. So before going there, we should know the climate
