The Muniyandikunnu is situated in the District Thrissur. This place is under the panjayat Varandharappilli and in the Enjakkund village. There are Muniyaras on the top of the big rock. There were 12 muniyaras but only one is remaining because of the rock mining. To reach here good road is there and the bus is available. After that should catch one auto for the next 2 kms.Through bike also we can reach. Its nice to travel inbetween the fields and in the hillsThe sights of this place will give energy that are meadows and hills. We can’t see any board to identify the place. In the left side one rock was there.I thought that would be the place and went there. It was a hill and the view from there was awesome. The lands, villages and hills will give one broad sight. The rock was broken and the pond was there in between which is giving good image for the travellers.
The Muniyara and the view of hills will give happiness. We should aware when we visit the Muniyattukunnu…. Should never visit in the afternoon…because we should walk on the rocks for 1 1/2 kms in hot.. The temperature will be high. There will be difficulty to get water also. The persons who are coming from the Trissur Mannuthi, Palakkadu should go to Amballor. And from there about 10 kms to Varantharappilli, Pound. Next we should go to the right side to reach Vellarapadam through Kacherikadavu bridge. Any child will tell the way to Muniyattukunnu from that place. If the person is coming from Ernakulam should travel through the Puthukkadu and then to Mupliyam…
To Muniyattupara 4 kms by travelling straight from Mupliyam. We should bring water for drinking
