The journey for searching the beauty of Kudajadri.The chance has got after a along time to visit Kudajadri, the beauty of forest that is covered with the snow fall.The climate was blessed with the nature.It is situated in the middle of the forest and the old stories are there behind this place. From Kullur Mookambika me and my family started to travel in a Jeep. The road was nice for the 15 kms.But after the check post the travel was through the offroad and it our body shaked a lot. At last we reached Kudajadri which is the major place of the Mookambika Devi.The Mookambika Devi appeared in chitramoola when Sankaracharyar had done the meditation (thapassu).Sankaracharyar had asked to Devi for visiting Kerala as blessing. Devi said that I will follow after you and will stop when you see at the back. “I will come till that place where you will turn back “Devi said.
The days has passed away and Sankaracharyar didn’t hear any sounds or movements.So he turned back.Then Devi said that I don’t leave this place.That place was Kudajadri. This is the story behind the place and it can be felt in the wind of the place. In Chritramoola we can see the ‘peedam’ that is used for the meditation. Those who are getting chance to visit Killer should visit Kudajadri at any cost. It will be a good experience for you.
